These taller cages have more surface area, more surface area equals more flow. If you have a hopped up motor and want to make sure it's getting all the air it needs a taller cage is going to help. The standard cage height on the mini breadbox and breadbox air cleaners is 1.1", this taller version is 1.7".

This is only the thick cages and filter, cover and backing plate are not included.
